It often happens behind closed doors and comes in many forms – physical, psychological, sexual, or economic violence. The Soroptimist Club Steyr takes a stand with this campaign:

We want to raise awareness of this important issue and show ways in which you can get help or offer support.

What can I do if I experience or witness violence?
If you are affected: Talk to someone you trust. Seek help from a counseling center or call one of the emergency contacts. In danger? Call 110 or 112!
If you notice violence: Take warning signs seriously and offer support. Encourage those affected to get help. In emergencies: Call the police!
Additional Tips for Witnesses:
- Gently approach those affected: „I’m worried about you – do you need support?“
- Offer practical help, such as accompanying them to a counseling center
- Stay alert and report violence if there’s a danger
